A Short Pause, A Bigger Comeback!

Feedback Tally Lights Are Temporarily Sold Out

The response to Companion Buddy and the Feedback Tally Lights has been incredible. Because of that support, the Feedback Tally Lights are currently sold out.

Under normal circumstances, I would already be deep into the next production batch. However, there are two major things happening behind the scenes right now that make that impossible.

🚚 1. Companion Buddy is moving

Companion Buddy is still entirely built, assembled, programmed, tested, and packaged by me. That means my “factory” is also my workshop — printers, soldering stations, test rigs, inventory, packing supplies, and shipping stations.

During this move, all of that has to be packed down, transported, and rebuilt. There’s no way to safely continue production without risking long delays, lost equipment or parts, or inconsistent quality on new orders.

Rather than rush builds in the middle of that chaos, I’m using this time to properly tear down and rebuild the shop the right way.

📦 2. Parts sourcing has become increasingly difficult

Although all Companion Buddy products are built and assembled in-house, most of the individual components are sourced from outside suppliers — many with long lead times.

Over the last few months, parts availability has become far less predictable. Between incorrect shipments, “drop-in replacements” that don’t actually work, and major suppliers showing zero stock on even common components, it’s become much harder to reliably start new production runs.

Without a stable parts pipeline, I can’t confidently take new orders and guarantee reasonable build times. Rather than letting backorders stack up, I’ve chosen to temporarily pause tally light sales until both parts supply and the new workspace are fully stable.

⏳ How long will this last?

I currently expect this pause to last around two to four months.

Once the move is complete, everything will be set back up with improvements to layout, workflow, testing, and inventory handling. The goal isn’t just to resume — it’s to come back with a smoother, more scalable setup that leads to faster turnaround times and even better quality control.

🛑 What if I already placed an order?

If you’ve already ordered a tally light and haven’t received it yet, I truly apologize. I know these devices are part of real production setups, and delays are frustrating.

Before the assembly line is packed up, every existing order will be fulfilled. I am building tally lights as fast as parts arrive and testing every unit before it ships. Pausing new orders allows me to fully focus available parts on completing the remaining orders instead of stretching inventory thinner.
